Mission, Vision, and Values

 

What if we learned how to really take care of our health and well-being, and then passed on that knowledge to others? What if we taught people how to love themselves, how to develop their own self-care practice, how to rest, how to give their bodies the nutrition and movement that it needs?
What if we took a radical approach to our health and fitness, one that focused more on preventing dis-ease and improving quality of life, rather than just looking beach ready in time for vacation?


So that's why I started this.


To start a movement of people being proactive and becoming an active participant in their wellness.

My mission is to help share the ways that we can all take better care of ourselves, our health, and wellness. I want people to have access to evidence-based ways to improve their whole health and well-being.

I want to help people become inspired, educated, empowered and passionate about taking care of themselves and living their most fulfilled life - because nobody can make an impact on your life the way that you can.

 


About Me

I love helping others fall in love with taking care of themselves.

My name is Mel, and I am a Wellness Educator and Holistic Health Coach Certified in Personal Training, Holistic Nutrition, Life Coaching, Breathwork, as well as Yoga and Meditation (RYT-200).

My education and background provide me not only with an interdisciplinary perspective, but also a wholistic basis for my approach when developing programs or working with clients one on one.

We are not one sided as human beings and as such, our wellness is made up of a continuum of parts that are all interconnected. It is for this reason that I approach health and wellness from a whole-person perspective; focusing on the connections between mind, body, movement, nutrition, and lifestyle.

I believe that you are - and always have been - your own best healthcare provider. The foods you eat, the movement you give your body, your sleep habits, your lifestyle habits, and stress management practices can truly be your most powerful medicine.

No matter where you are right now, know that you can give yourself what you need - step by step, moment by moment, breath by breath.
